My name is Christina Merryman. I am a Mother, Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, Paralegal, Parole Advocate, and returning citizen. In May 2023, I joined PREPARE upon my release from MCI-W. Through hard work, determination, and with help from others, I was able to make the necessary changes, to turn my life around and transform into a positive, strong, honest, caring, productive member of society.
PREPARE offers many services, but my two favorites are that we help people tell their story and find the proper resources to reenter society. Working with PREPARE has given me an overwhelming sense of gratitude, helping others regain their strengths the system took away from them. It’s my belief everyone has the ability to change and be successful with the proper help, mentors, guidance, and support system. It is my passion to continue to give back and help others.
