Judith Lichtenberg is professor emerita of philosophy at Georgetown and taught previously at the University of Maryland, College Park. She has been teaching college courses in philosophy for the University of Baltimore and Georgetown University since 2016—at Jessup Correctional Institution and Patuxent Institution in Maryland and at the DC Jail. She’s the author of a couple of books and many articles about ethics and justice, and is currently at work on a book called Punishing. She serves on the executive committee of the Maryland Alliance for Justice Reform.
