Jamie Raskin is a Maryland Congressman. Prior to that he was a Maryland State Senator and a constitutional law professor at American University. He founded and directed the LL.M. Program in Law and Government at A.U. from which Elizabeth Finne graduated and through which she first became involved with programming at MCIW. Congressman Raskin has always shown great willingness to support the women in MCIW, from the early days of college programming through to now being on the advisory board of PREPARE. This is entirely befitting of his broader commitment to justice. In Congress he serves on the Judiciary Committee where he is on the Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties.
