Shaila Guthikonda-Cordone is a native of Burlington, Vermont but spent the majority of her childhood in the Midwest. She earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of Michigan in 2000, with a minor in mathematics, and has a Master’s in Business Administration from George Washington University in 2004, concentrating in finance and international business. She has worked in real estate her entire professional career and is currently the Chief Financial Officer for STOLADI Property Group, responsible for the oversight of all aspects of accounting and financial reporting, as well as payroll, human resources, and information technology, managing over 4 million square feet of commercial and multifamily assets in DC, Maryland and Virginia.
Shaila is an active member of her school and church community, adhering to the belief that to whom much is given, much is expected. She served as the president of the School Advisory Board, assisting with the school’s budget and spearheading a 10-year strategic capital planning project. She also sat on her parish Finance Committee, providing fiduciary oversight for both school and parish. At STOLADI Property Group, she initiated a community service program, organizing quarterly events with coworkers to serve the homeless through Catholic Charities and St. Maria’s Meals.
In her free time, when she’s not watching Michigan Wolverines football games, Shaila enjoys trying new restaurants in the DC metropolitan area with her husband, cheering on their two children at softball and basketball games, and running regularly with friends through Rock Creek Park.
